However, in the most recent developer beta, the end call button is now centered vertically among a trio of buttons, closer to the bottom of the screen.
It is important to note that Apple’s decision to move the “end call” button is still subject to alteration as it currently appears solely in the developer beta. Apple’s developer and public beta release programs serve as avenues for software makers and early adopters to test the new iOS and identify potential bugs before the official release in the fall, coinciding with the launch of new iPhones.

In the summer of 2021, Apple explored a similar alteration to Safari by relocating the URL bar to the bottom of the page, catering to the ergonomic needs of individuals using larger screens. However, before the official software release, Apple scaled back some of its planned changes and provided users the option to revert the URL bar back to its traditional position at the top of the page. Additionally, Apple has relocated push notifications to the bottom of the iPhone’s screen in recent years, demonstrating its commitment to refining the user experience.
