Telegram, the popular messaging platform, has recently introduced new updates to its stories feature. The company has added exciting new features such as the ability to add music and reaction stickers to stories, as well as the option to send and share media in view-once mode. In addition, Telegram has extended the ability to post stories to channels, but with a requirement for boosts from Premium users.

Telegram initially launched its stories feature for premium users in July and then made it available for all users in August. Now, the platform has extended this feature to channels, allowing them to post stories as well. However, in order to do so, channels need to receive boosts from their users. Telegram Premium offers one boost per user, which can be granted to any channel. As channels gain boosts, they will progress to different levels, with each level granting the ability to post an additional daily story. Users still have control over which channels they want to see stories from.

One of the new updates is the ability to add reaction stickers and music to stories. Users and channels can now include reaction stickers in their stories, and viewers can respond to them with a single tap. Adding a reaction sticker is simple, users just need to click on the icon in the sticker panel and select the desired emoji from the available options. While Premium users can add up to 5 reaction stickers per story, other users are limited to one reaction sticker per story. Another exciting addition is the ability to add music to stories. Users can select a music file from their device and adjust the track as desired. They also have the option to keep the original audio if preferred.

Similar to popular platforms like WhatsApp and Instagram, Telegram now allows users to send media in view-once mode. This mode ensures that the media file is automatically deleted once opened, and the viewer is unable to save it or take screenshots. Users can choose between a view-once setting or a 30-second display mode, giving them more control over the privacy and accessibility of their shared media.

In an effort to enhance security, Telegram has implemented a new login alert feature. Every time a user logs in from a new device, they will receive a login alert. This feature helps users stay informed about any suspicious activity on their account. Additionally, users can review all the devices they are currently logged into by accessing the “Devices” section in the settings menu. For an extra layer of security, Telegram also offers two-step verification, which users can enable to further protect their account.

Telegram has introduced several exciting updates to its stories feature, making it more dynamic and interactive for users and channels alike. The ability to add music and reaction stickers allows for more creative expression, while the view-once mode enhances privacy and control over shared media. Furthermore, the extension of the stories feature to channels provides a new way for channels to engage with their audience. With the added security measures, Telegram continues to prioritize the safety and convenience of its users. Stay tuned for more updates from Telegram as the platform evolves and improves its features to meet the changing needs of its user base.
